About Hoopers Cottage

Hoopers is a beautiful, detached stone cottage that overlooks the green and has marvellous views across the Dale Bay. Deceptively spacious inside, it has been refurbished throughout with exposed beams, open fire and oak flooring. The limestone wet room is very useful for washing away the sand after a busy day exploring the array of beautiful local beaches and activities. Well equipped, the attractive light kitchen/diner with a partly, glazed roof providing excellent socialising opportunities; while the French doors lead to a large, enclosed rear walled garden.

Spend your days on the golden beach of Marloes Sands about 4 miles away or the sheltered cove of St Brides, 1 mile away. You will not be short of things to do with the water sports centre and sailing opportunities at Dale and the good restaurants and pubs to try in the village of Little Haven all nearby. A superb character filled home for a family holiday throughout the year.

One Level Accommodation - This denotes that a bedroom, bathroom or shower room, whb/wc, living area and kitchen are on one level - guests must check the property access statement on the website or request a copy via email to base their decision on, if this is important to your stay.

Orlandon Cottages, four charming period cottages set on their own pretty hamlet green surrounded by farmland and stunning views. Ideal for families or large groups to get together, each has been individually designed and renovated to a very high standard, yet retaining their own charm and character. Furnished with beautiful antique pieces to reflect a cosy rustic feel while the modern bathrooms and fitted kitchens give a contemporary twist. Crisp white Egyptian linen add a feeling of luxury, complimented with throws and scatter cushions in warm natural hues from the local woollen mill, Melin Tregwynt to give a truly Welsh feel. They all have secluded south facing gardens and access to a children’s play area in the field. A 1 mile footpath takes you to Marloes and the popular pub, The Lobster Pot. Dale is 3 miles away, enjoy a meal at the award-winning, Griffin. A 15 minute walk takes you to the picturesque Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and tranquil sheltered cove of St Brides where children will enjoy playing in the rock pools and crabbing. With the Puffin shuttle bus running past your door Orlandon Cottages have easy access to Dale with its water sports centre, the golden sands of Marloes, the boat trips from St Martins Haven to the puffins on Skomer Island - a bird watchers and walkers delight, and the fishing village of Little Haven which offers a choice of restaurants/pubs.

Always wonderful to catch up with the Evans/Bolgar families, their friend the Skyes too.We wont be here next year for the first time in 9-10 years but we will be back in 2014!!Next year will not be the same without our annual dose of Pembrokeshire.
